I made Isla a hair clip holder because– she needs one. She has so many hair clips and we needed a place to put them, fast. Isla has really long hair in the back (it’s to her shoulders wet but curls up to her hair line dry) but the front is really straight and is always in her eyes. We clip it back or put it in ponytails but we had hair clips laying all over the house.
Here’s what you need:
- Scrapbook frame (I had this on hand and it was about $3 from Michaels)
- Paint
- Washi Tape
- Ribbon (I had this on hand…I just used all the ribbons that I saved from my Glossyboxes!)
- Staple gun
I painted the frame white and then just used washi tape to create a fun pattern on the frame. Then I stapled the ribbon in. Seriously, this whole thing took me about 2 hours. Most of that time was waiting for paint to dry!
